Lexis Jordan The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn Courageous adventures that two best friends take leads to different run Ins with their obstacles they are faced, but also they’re faced with seeing the differences and slams reties in their personality. In Mark Twain’s Adventures of Huckleberry Finn we see two main characters, Huckleberry Finn and Tom Sawyer, conquer each obstacle they encounter along their way in their adventures. Heck and Tom throughout the book show quite a bit of both molarities and differences .

One huge similarity Heck and Tom share throughout the book was Just how loyal they were to their friends. At the formation of Tom Sawyer’s gang he created, Heck was In danger of being executed since he had no family members who could be executed If Heck gave away any of the gang secrets. Although Tom and the others in the gang didn’t want Heck not to be apart of the gang so they all came up with an alternative so Heck could be apart of their gang.

Another common personality trait Heck and Tom both shared was a good adventure especially together. Such as when the gang played pretended activities like ” lay in a ambuscade,” or when the boys went to free Jim. Jim was a slave and had been put in prison. Heck and Tom drastic efforts undertaken to free Jim. Calm was although eventually freed by the boys on Phelps farm. Heck and Tom were although not completely similar and had their differences. Tom was the more imaginative of the two, but also the less kind hearted.

Whereas Heck was m ore simple minded and laid back which probably stemmed from him being on his own as a child wanting to get things done the easiest way possible. In the incident of freeing Jim from prison it could have been straightforward and simple, but Tom Insisted that all the proper steps In the pr echoes of breaking out of prison be observed. Which was not needed and only made things MO re complicated and harder.
