Al, 1996). As children grow up, parents can nurture their growing independence and responsibility through positive guidance.
Responsibility and Independence are developed through the increased expansion of freedom within limits, along with the connection between children’s actions and appropriate consequences, provides children with opportunities to develop independence and responsibility for their lives (Dubos, Houseman, & Iron, 1987; Macomb & Martin, 1983). When you’re an adult, things become harder and stressful. Now you have to work, pay bills, balance the check book, and so much more.
It’s all about working and paying bills. You have to buy everything you want as an adult, nothing is free. If you have a family, you have to plan the times your kids have practice If they are In sports or any extracurricular activities. You have to juggle so many things which means you have to be able to manage your time well. The freedom as an adult may not be as fun as the freedom as a child, but you have experiences now. Adults can change any behavior or characteristic that they dislike In themselves.
On the other hand, there are some adults that are okay with the bad choices they make and choose not to change the bad life that they chose for themselves.
