As a child, the responsibilities were easy. Children don’t have bills to pay and there was no worrying about buying the latest smartness. It was all about study and play (Roth). Everything is free when you are a child. The behavior of children as they grow, Is based on the way the adult raised them. Although, when some children get to be a certain age, parents will assign chores for the child to do to help out and start gaining responsibility.

Children have all the freedom that adults miss from when they were young. Children whose parents provide some freedom within clearly fined and clearly enforced limits gradually learn to be responsible for their actions and are more likely to succeed In school and In later life (Beer. 1996; shown, Evangel, & Poster, 1998; Spencer et. Al, 1996). As children grow up, parents can nurture their growing independence and responsibility through positive guidance.

Responsibility and Independence are developed through the increased expansion of freedom within limits, along with the connection between children’s actions and appropriate consequences, provides children with opportunities to develop independence and responsibility for their lives (Dubos, Houseman, & Iron, 1987; Macomb & Martin, 1983). When you’re an adult, things become harder and stressful. Now you have to work, pay bills, balance the check book, and so much more.

It’s all about working and paying bills. You have to buy everything you want as an adult, nothing is free. If you have a family, you have to plan the times your kids have practice If they are In sports or any extracurricular activities. You have to juggle so many things which means you have to be able to manage your time well. The freedom as an adult may not be as fun as the freedom as a child, but you have experiences now. Adults can change any behavior or characteristic that they dislike In themselves.

On the other hand, there are some adults that are okay with the bad choices they make and choose not to change the bad life that they chose for themselves. Although being a child is a lot more fun and less stressful than being an adult, the accomplishments made throughout your life makes you a successful adult. When we were young, we wanted the freedom to do what we wanted to do that every adult enjoyed in their young age but never really realized all the responsibilities that came along with growing up and becoming a successful adult.
