The Other Wes Moore

The Other West Moore West Moore was a normal boy who lived in Brooklyn, New York, until his whole life was flipped around when his father died. West did not think of his dad as a father, but more like an older brother. He was not afraid to share what he felt with his father; because he knew everything would be alright while his father was around. West’s relationship with his father was like a kid that has a teddy bear; he did not want to do anything without him. My life can be closely related to the life of West Moor’s.

Even though I did not lose my father at a young age, the admiration for my father is Just as big as Woes. When I was a toddler, I wanted to be Just like my father. I tried to do almost everything that he did. I even appreciated some of the things that he liked and did, so I could be Just like him. While growing, I hit a stage where I started to think that being like my father was not such a good thing. I began thinking that I didn’t want to be like him at all, because he was a big disciplinarian. I thought that once I reached adulthood, I would be too hard on my children if I allowed in his footsteps.

As I continue to mature, Eve noticed that he does this to bring out the best in me, and without him I would not be the person I am today. Being like my father would be a great thing. Having the knowledge to know what to do in tough times, and how to lead a family. A lot of people say that I look like my father, and when they do I Just smile. Even though my foot is bigger than his, I know there is a long period of time before I will fill his shoes. My hope Is, when I grow older I will be the other Ron Guy.
