Culture and Art

Culture is the way of life in a specific group of people. Culture is sort of a blueprint for an individual society. The socially transmitted behaviors, patterns of thought, beliefs, arts, institutions, behavior, customs, traditions, language, rituals, music, literature, dress, and all other products of human work and thought compose a unique culture and human survival tool. These patterns and traits were considered as the expression of a certain period: Edwardian and Japanese culture, the culture of poverty (Aitkin, 2009). Art is the quality, production, expression, or realm, according to aesthetic principles, of what Is beautiful, appealing, or of more than ordinary significance” (Merriam Webster, 2012). Art has many genres and may take place as a physical object, works of art collectively, such as paintings or drawings or as an act Itself Like dancing. Visual arts primarily are created art forms that are visual In nature Like sculptures and crafts.

Music Is sound of harmonicas tones with various references and creations. Architecture Is the planning and designing of construction. Lastly, Literature Is written literary work In forms of drama, poems. Law, history etc. The role of the artist has changed considerably over the last century: however, its significance has not. Every form of art has a unique role, but ultimately it is an expression of feelings, imagination, and communicates the artist’s ideas.

A painter may capture the individual’s personality in their portrait; a dancer may express the lyrics or personal feeling through movement. Any creative creation can induce an influence which starts a new expression. This new expression can influence another individual in an individual culture or better yet millions of cultures around the world.
